Hi, I’m Kristin, founder and principal designer of West Wind Studio.
I help homeowners navigate remodels and interior design projects with clarity, confidence, and care. My work blends formal design education with hands-on construction experience, bridging creativity and practicality.
My path into design began with a love for spaces that feel thoughtful, functional, and connected to nature. I studied interior design at San Diego State University and have spent the past 13 years leading projects and working hands-on with contractors, builders, and trades.
Learning from seasoned professionals taught me how spaces truly come together, beyond what’s shown on paper. That experience continues to shape my work today. Whether it’s a remodel or a ground-up build, I approach each project with curiosity, care, and a commitment to designing spaces that feel like home.
